Responsibilities
- Implement and manage information assurance and security protocols in compliance with NIST standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Oversee the administration of security clearances and personnel reliability programs.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response plans.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: Active Security+ certification required; CISSP preferred.
- Clearance: Must be eligible for a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security, network administration, or information assurance.
- Skills: Proficiency in firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and risk management frameworks.
