Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure and firewalls for federal clients.
- Monitor system performance, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Enforce strict information security policies and manage user access controls in compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and implement modern cybersecurity solutions.
- Document technical configurations, incidents, and resolutions to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in IT support, network administration, or cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations, security frameworks, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
