Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues during night operations.
- Monitor server health, system performance, and security logs to ensure 24/7 operational stability.
- Manage and deploy software patches and security updates in strict compliance with federal IT standards.
- Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Document all technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions in our knowledge management system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless handover and continuity of service.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of workstations for incoming personnel.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or A+ is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during night shift hours (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
