Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the state's server infrastructure and network connectivity.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal government agencies and staff.
- Implement and monitor stringent security protocols to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new software and cloud solutions.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate configuration records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration or technical support.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
