Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage complex network infrastructure to support state operations.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues in real-time.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols and firewalls to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with system administrators to optimize server performance and cloud integration.
- Provide advanced technical support and training to end-users across the organization.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network topology and configuration changes.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical system maintenance and outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Cisco networking equipment, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (Public Trust) is required.
