We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our elite federal team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a full-time opportunity to contribute to critical national defense initiatives, ensuring the integrity and security of our defense logistics networks.
As a Federal IT Professional, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining mission-critical systems and supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) mission.
Responsibilities
- Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Security Compliance: Enforce federal security protocols, manage access controls, and monitor system security.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues to minimize system downtime.
- System Administration: Configure and manage servers, firewalls, and virtualization environments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation and update incident reports.
- Critical Support: Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical federal systems during emergencies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Clearance: Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible IT experience in a federal or military environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or Windows Server environments.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or CISSP preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders.
