Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure to meet federal security standards.
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and federal information security regulations.
- Monitor network performance, analyze traffic data, and perform capacity planning.
- Provide advanced technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders and end-users.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one (required for federal roles).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or systems engineering.
- Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, Security+, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
