Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network architectures to support federal operations.
- Ensure the security and integrity of network systems by enforcing NIST cybersecurity protocols.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and federal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular network audits and performance assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing legacy systems.
- Respond to system outages and perform emergency repairs with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.
- U.S. Citizenship required for federal employment.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
