Responsibilities
- Assist senior IT staff with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting to agency employees and internal users.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices to support the agency's digital transformation goals.
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and incident reports accurately and timely.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and security compliance initiatives under direct supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent relevant work experience).
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking fundamentals, and office productivity software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background check and drug screening (mandatory for state employment).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
