Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for state agencies across hardware, software, and network systems
- Deploy and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate system documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and migrations
- Monitor system performance and proactively address technical issues
- Train staff on new technologies and security best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of enterprise IT support experience
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues
- Valid Michigan driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during system outages
