Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for end-users across various state agencies.
- Manage and maintain the organization's Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and wireless infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and implement security patches to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and upgrade IT systems and security protocols.
- Document technical procedures, create user guides, and maintain accurate asset inventory records.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT support, help desk, or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching concepts.
- Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and troubleshooting hardware peripherals.
- Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
