Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level software solutions. As a Systems Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and secure for public use.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications and database systems in accordance with state standards.
- Conduct system analysis, requirements gathering, and gap analysis to drive technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior staff members.
- Ensure all systems comply with federal and state security regulations and data privacy laws.
- troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues with minimal downtime.
- Document system architecture, processes, and technical specifications for future reference.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Analysis, Software Development, or IT Consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Expertise in SQL and database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with Cloud Computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience working within a government or large enterprise environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
