Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for desktop hardware, software applications, and network connectivity issues.
- Configure, deploy, and manage user accounts, including Active Directory administration and security permissions.
- Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting for end-users.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures.
- Collaborate with network administrators to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Assist in the migration of data and systems as required by departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in IT support or a help desk environment.
- A+ Certification or equivalent technical experience is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced government environment.
