We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient IT Support Specialist to join our Information Technology Services division. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and security of our critical government infrastructure. This position requires a dedicated individual who is comfortable working weekend shifts to support our 24/7 operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 and 3 technical support for end-users, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Manage and monitor system performance during critical weekend maintenance windows to ensure zero downtime.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot workstations, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local information security standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the Service Management System.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute weekend infrastructure upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
- Experience working in a government, public sector, or large enterprise environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote access technologies.
- Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (e.g., Friday-Sunday) and holidays as required by the department.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
