Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT systems including network infrastructure and databases
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data
- Provide technical support to federal agencies and staff across Illinois
- Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Develop and maintain IT documentation and SOPs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT modernization projects
- Ensure compliance with federal IT regulations (FISMA, NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and tools
- Experience with federal IT compliance frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
