Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments for VA systems
- Oversee cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS platforms with federal compliance standards
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for network operations and system outages
- Document IT infrastructure using ITIL best practices and federal security guidelines
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years administering Windows Server 2016/2019 in enterprise environments
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 compliance
- Experience with federal NIST SP 800-53 security controls
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
