Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize city-wide server infrastructure (Windows/Linux)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee cloud migrations and hybrid cloud architectures
- Provide tier-3 technical support for enterprise applications
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement
- Document IT policies and standard operating procedures
- Mentor junior IT staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of enterprise IT administration experience
- CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP
- Experience with government compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network diagnostics
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
