Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Windows Server 2019/2022 and Active Directory environments
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including NIST compliance and zero-trust architecture
- Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) with Terraform and PowerShell automation
- Provide Tier-3 support for 50+ state agencies during critical outages
- Document system configurations using Confluence and ServiceNow
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing with NC Emergency Management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5 years experience accepted)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- 3+ years administering enterprise Active Directory environments
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools
- Security clearance eligibility required
- Government IT infrastructure experience preferred
