Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex IT solutions to support federal agency missions, ensuring alignment with OMB and CIO guidance.
- Conduct rigorous security assessments and implement FedRAMP compliant security controls to protect sensitive government data.
- Oversee the lifecycle of network infrastructure, including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
- Analyze system performance metrics to optimize efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance user experience for agency stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal and policy departments, to ensure technology solutions meet regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior IT staff and provide technical guidance on emerging technologies such as AI and big data analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) with favorable adjudication.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# and experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and ITIL best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
