Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the city's server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data against external threats.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to internal government staff and various departments.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform necessary updates, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Experience working within a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder updates.
