Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise server hardware, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and monitor robust security protocols to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (NIST, FISMA, HIPAA).
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network devices, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Provide advanced technical support to internal staff and resolve critical system outages with minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular system audits, patch management, and disaster recovery testing to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in System Administration, Network Engineering, or IT Support.
- Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux distributions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (or equivalent government security clearance).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
