Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure to support county operations.
- Conduct system analysis, requirements gathering, and technical feasibility studies for new software projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software solutions and improve operational workflows.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure high availability and security.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee software licensing, compliance, and technical support contracts.
- Document system architecture, processes, and technical specifications for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems analysis, IT support, or a related role within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Strong understanding of network architecture, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and IT Service Management (ITIL) frameworks.
- Ability to obtain a State of California background clearance and pass a drug screen.
