Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust IT systems and applications to support county operations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for government stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations and data security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow processes and improve service delivery.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues.
- Conduct system audits and performance tuning to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems analysis or IT support within the public sector or a similar environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and JavaScript.
- Experience with government cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and cybersecurity protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background check.
