Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze complex IT requirements for new systems and software upgrades.
- System Design: Design, develop, and implement technical solutions that align with county standards and regulatory compliance (FISMA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Project Management: Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery of IT initiatives.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex system issues, provide technical guidance to junior staff, and ensure system stability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, process flows, and user manuals.
- Security Compliance: Monitor system performance and implement security protocols to protect sensitive government data.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or IT project management within a government or enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical teams and non-technical leadership.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving complex technical challenges.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with government IT standards and data privacy regulations.
