Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system development and enhancement.
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party contractors to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and system architecture.
- Ensure data security and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, network administration, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or a similar credential are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with non-technical stakeholders.
