Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure and server environments using industry-standard technologies.
- Ensure the security, availability, and performance of all IT systems in compliance with state regulations and security protocols.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal stakeholders.
- Lead migration projects and modernization initiatives, including cloud integration (Azure/AWS) and virtualization (VMware).
- Conduct regular system audits, capacity planning, and performance tuning to optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute IT strategies that align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration, network engineering, or IT support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and network security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to public service.
