Responsibilities
- System Administration: Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of server infrastructure and cloud-based platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (FISMA, HIPAA).
- Network Optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical government services.
- Vendor Management: Lead the procurement and evaluation process for third-party IT solutions and service providers.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the deployment of new software and hardware upgrades.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and system diagrams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Azure Administrator Certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis or systems administration within a government or enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Windows Server administration.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
