Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical architectures for government systems.
- Oversee the lifecycle of enterprise software implementations, ensuring alignment with NY State IT standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state data privacy regulations, including NY State Privacy Law.
- Provide advanced technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and support staff.
- Conduct system performance tuning, security audits, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives and improve citizen services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, architecture, or engineering within a government or enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Java, .NET, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) is required.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework, Agile methodologies, and project management principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain a State issued photo ID and pass a background check/security clearance.
