Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages accurately and efficiently to residential and business customers.
- Sort mail according to the established route and delivery sequence.
- Collect and process outgoing mail, including stamps and packages.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean and safe condition.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving inquiries and complaints.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages and standing for extended periods.
- Follow all safety regulations and postal procedures while on the road.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and walk long distances in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to read maps and GPS devices.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
