Responsibilities
- Efficient Delivery: Deliver mail and parcels accurately and efficiently along assigned routes in the Jacksonville area.
- Mail Handling: Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail/packages to ensure timely processing.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by interacting professionally with customers to resolve inquiries and handle packages with care.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Route Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the assigned delivery routes and address changes.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for government work.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
