Responsibilities
- Sort and Distribute: Accurately sort incoming mail and packages by size, weight, and route before delivery.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answer inquiries, and resolve delivery issues with a smile.
- Safe Delivery: Safely transport mail to residential and commercial addresses in a timely manner, adhering to USPS safety standards.
- Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
- Adherence to Protocol: Strictly follow all safety regulations, security procedures, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, stand, lift, and carry packages up to 70 lbs for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
