Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers along assigned routes in a timely manner.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the public to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Maintain delivery vehicles and equipment in safe operating condition.
- Observe safety regulations and ensure the security of mail and packages during transit.
- Handle mail with the utmost care, adhering to privacy and security standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for federal employment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and stack packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and walk for extended periods.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and attention to detail.
