Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Mail: Organize and categorize incoming and outgoing mail to ensure accuracy.
- Delivery Duties: Transport mail to residential and business addresses along assigned routes.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answer inquiries, and resolve delivery issues.
- Physical Handling: Lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs safely.
- Collection: Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and customer mailboxes.
- Route Management: Navigate assigned delivery areas efficiently using provided maps and GPS tools.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid state driver's license (Class C).
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to walk, stand, and lift for extended periods in all weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling sensitive documents and parcels.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with the public.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
