Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to homes and businesses along an assigned route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and organize mail on the delivery vehicle to ensure efficient service.
- Collect and process payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) items and other fees.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling questions and complaints with empathy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the vehicle and the mail satchel.
- Follow strict security and safety protocols to protect mail and the public.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National (or Lawful Permanent Resident).
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License (for rural or curbside carrier positions).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug screening.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
