Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of city facilities, parks, and transportation infrastructure
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, street sweepers, and snow removal equipment
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report hazards to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public improvement projects
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests during inclement weather
- Maintain accurate records of work activities and equipment usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years maintenance experience
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean record
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with basic hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
