Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light/heavy machinery including backhoes, dump trucks, and street sweepers
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs during inclement weather
- Assist in park and recreational area maintenance
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years of construction or maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
