Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on public facilities, parks, and transportation infrastructure
- Operate heavy machinery including mowers, tractors, and snow removal equipment
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on infrastructure projects
- Respond to emergency weather conditions and disaster recovery efforts
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment usage
- Participate in public outreach events promoting community safety initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B)
- Minimum 2 years of equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Tulsa residency required within 90 days of hire
