Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of public parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, sweepers) safely and efficiently
- Assist in emergency response during weather-related events
- Conduct daily safety inspections of assigned work areas
- Interact professionally with community members and address inquiries
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Participate in city beautification and community events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C) with clean record
- Ability to pass physical fitness assessment and background check
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools operation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- No prior experience required - training provided
