Responsibilities
- Maintain city parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities with precision and care
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, etc.) for landscape maintenance
- Perform routine inspections of public infrastructure and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community beautification projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and city safety regulations
- Assist in emergency response for weather-related city maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- 1+ years in landscaping, construction, or facility maintenance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying conditions
- Experience with power tools and outdoor equipment
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
