Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city infrastructure including parks, facilities, and public works equipment
- Operate specialized machinery safely and efficiently following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support community events and emergency response
- Document maintenance activities using digital reporting systems
- Conduct daily safety inspections of assigned work zones
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- 3+ years of maintenance or construction experience
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and hand/power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments
