Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment (backhoes, graders, dump trucks)
- Perform park maintenance including irrigation repair and landscaping
- Repair street signage, curbs, and sidewalks
- Conduct facility maintenance and minor construction projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Respond to emergency weather-related infrastructure issues
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Arizona Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operation experience
- Certification in landscape maintenance or construction trades preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Tucson residency required within 90 days of hire
