What You’ll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of public parks, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools, including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and jackhammers.
- Repair and maintain public fixtures, including benches, fences, and street signs.
- Ensure all work complies with local safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Report hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
- Assist in large-scale municipal projects and special events cleanup.
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Experience with landscaping tools or construction equipment is a plus.
- Strong commitment to public service and community safety.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
