Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery including graders, loaders, and trenchers
- Conduct safety inspections and repairs on public facilities
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs during off-hours
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for project coordination
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Certification in confined space entry and trench safety
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of asphalt repair and concrete work
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Ability to obtain Arizona Pesticide Applicator License within 6 months
