Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including mowing, trimming, litter removal, and seasonal planting
- Operate light equipment (mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers) safely and efficiently
- Inspect and repair playground equipment, benches, and other park amenities
- Assist with event setup/breakdown for community gatherings and festivals
- Respond to resident service requests regarding park conditions
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain accurate work records
- Collaborate with team members on daily maintenance schedules
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Basic equipment operation experience preferred (mowers, hand tools)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer service skills with ability to engage positively with residents
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (e.g., pesticide applicator)
