Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair public facilities (parks, buildings, transportation infrastructure)
- Respond to citizen service requests within 24-hour SLAConduct routine safety inspections of municipal properties
- Coordinate emergency response during public events
- Manage waste collection and recycling operations
- Assist with community outreach programs
- Prepare detailed maintenance reports
- Adhere to all federal and municipal regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 2 years public sector or facilities maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in municipal software systems (GIS, CMMS)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
