Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on public spaces including parks, trails, and municipal buildings
- Operate heavy equipment (mowers, trucks, snow removal) safely and efficiently
- Respond to citizen service requests within established SLAs
- Conduct seasonal infrastructure inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community improvement projects
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety protocols at all times
- Assist with emergency response during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year experience in grounds maintenance or construction
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
