Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of public parks, sidewalks, and recreational facilities
- Operate light machinery including mowers, trimmers, and landscaping equipment
- Assist in stormwater drainage system inspections and minor repairs
- Respond to citizen service requests for municipal infrastructure issues
- Participate in seasonal beautification projects and community events
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and city maintenance standards
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years experience in grounds maintenance or construction
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to public safety
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed)
