- Assist in stormwater drainage system upkeep and flood prevention
- Support waste management initiatives and recycling programs
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on infrastructure projects
- Document work progress and maintain safety compliance records
- Respond to citizen service requests regarding public works issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Experience with hand/power tools and light equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to public service
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
