Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of public parks, streets, and recreational facilities
- Operate light machinery including mowers, trimmers, and hand tools safely
- Assist in stormwater drainage system inspections and repairs
- Support waste management operations and recycling programs
- Respond to citizen service requests for municipal property issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment operation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong commitment to public service and safety protocols
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous municipal or landscaping experience a plus
