Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain municipal equipment (e.g., trucks, mowers, snow removal tools)
- Perform groundskeeping and park maintenance duties
- Assist in public facility upkeep and repairs
- Support waste management and recycling initiatives
- Respond to weather-related emergencies (e.g., snow removal, storm cleanup)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota Class D driver's license
- Minimum 1 year experience in public works or maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong commitment to community service and public safety
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/evenings
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical exam
